UTV Takeover 2019 Coos Bay Oregon

In this weeks video my friends and I go to Coos Bay Oregon for some Oregon Dunes action at the 2019 UTV Takeover event. This event has been happening now for a few years and they have all gone before, but this year will be my first. So I was not sure what to expect, but the UTV Takeover event was a blast! It went from Wednesday to Sunday and all the days were jam packed with events and activities to participate in.

I brought my 2019 Yamaha YXZ1000r and Ryan also brought his 2016 Yamaha YXZ1000r. Our other friends brought their dirt bikes and quads, I’m not too sure of the make and models lol This was the first time I was going to ride “real” dunes as everyone kept telling me. Well, they were not wrong! These dunes are way larger then anything I’ve ridden on, but I didnt let that intimidate me. I went full on, full throttle through all the dunes and feel like I got to know my brand new 2019 Yamaha YXZ1000r pretty well. It conquered all the dunes it was faced with and still had some power left over.

One cool thing we got to do was test drive some brand new 2019 Yamaha YXZ1000r Turbo paddle shift models. I have yet to feel what the turbo was like on the Yamaha UTV, it was pretty snappy and had some more punch. So maybe someday when I have some extra cash, a turbo will be a good purchase for thew new toy.
