2019 YXZ1000R Hits the Trails

In this weeks video I take my new 2019 Yamaha YXZ1000R for it’s second ride. Yamaha UTV suggests putting 20 “easy” low rev hours on the YXZ1000 before fully reving it all over the place. So I went to LaDee Flats in Oregon to put on some hours/miles. The first ride I went and rode in the dunes, but since I have a limited amount of time to break this UTV in for the UTV Takeover in June, I thought that trail riding would be be a quicker way to get some hours and miles on the new machine.

It was a little cold up in the mountains, but LaDee Flats is just way closer to my house. So my buddy and I toughed through the cold, unprepared and rode some miles in the new Yamaha UTV. We managed to put on another 2.5 hours and about 45miles. At one point we were getting pelted in the face with hail and snow lol Anyways, sorry to babble on.
